In cooperation with the Institute of Human Resources Management, The Syrian Private University held its semi-annual Job Fair at the Ummayad Hotel, Damascus between 28-29 July. The Fair was inaugurated Saturday by HE Dr. Reem Qaderi, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, and Prof. Nazir Ibrahim, President of the Syrian Private University. The event was sponsored by Syriatel, the country’s leading cellular telecom provider. Twenty leading companies participated in the two day activity. Banks, insurance and telecom companies, pharmaceutical and textile manufacturers were present to offer prospective graduates a glance at the promise that the future holds for them. At the conclusion of the 2-days event, Prof. Riyad Ghazi, vice-president of SPU distributed certificates of appreciation to participants in the fair.
