Answer:

student is allowed to cancel a course that he has already registered by the end of the 13th week in the regular semester and by the end of the 6th week in the summer semester , and this process should be shown in the student’s academic record, but this course will not be counted count in the quarterly and cumulative rate.

if dropping and adding time finished and the student did not register or postpone, he /she will be considered as quitted from study (university will cancel his/her registration after four semesters of dropping out) .

student can make a full quit semester when there is an excuse preventing him/her from studying, and this semester will be counted from the upper limit of the study.

Student can postpone his/her study before the expiration of the deleting and adding process for a period of time but not more than 4 semesters whether separated or combined. Student can postpone only after one semester at least from his/her studying ( summer semester isn’t included). Postponing isn’t counted from the maximum allowing period for the university degree

it’s a temporary situation in the academic system when the student does not sit for an exam on time for reasons approved from his/ her college. Student should remove it within two weeks maximum from the beginning of the next semester, including the summer semester, if the student registered for it or else he/she will take 0.

is the given mark less than 60 and higher or equal to 50. Students pass as long as the cumulative average is higher or equal to 2 out of 4, and students fail when it’s less than 2.

it’s done by the same way of the semester average with taking into consideration all the courses that the student studies from the beginning of his/her study till this average is being done. Repeated course is taken only once and the highest mark is accepted only.

is the total of marks obtained by the student during his study in the semester after multiplying it with the course hours and then divide it on the total hours that the student studies in the semester

Drop and addition

the process of deleting or adding or changing classes or changing course hours takes place during the first week of the semester and the student doesn’t have to pay for it

Prerequisite course

the course that the student should study to be able to register the next course whether he/she studies it inside or outside the university and passes it or fails.
