The President of the University held a meeting in honour of the Deanship of the Faculty of Medicine, in the highest thanks of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and his deputies for the efforts made to get the Faculty of Medicine to the first ranks consistently in the Standardized National Medical Exam on Monday 3/12/2018 In the Office of the Presidency of the University, In the presence of the Vice President, the President's Advisor for Technical Affairs, the Secretary of the University and the deans of the faculties, in addition to the Director of Human Resources, the Director of International Relations the Head of the branch of the National Union of Syrian Students at the University and the Head of the student body in the Faculty of Medicine and Student Mohammad Moaz Masalmeh , winner of the silver medal at the Basel Exhibition of invention and creativity.

The meeting was opened with a welcoming speech by Prof. Nazir Ibrahim, the university president, who affirmed that this honoring is meant to all the staff, especially the Deanship and the Faculty of Medicine, which contributed greatly to the escalation of the college's graph in terms of excellence and achievement.
He went on then to address the student Masalmeh, stressing the readiness of the whole university to provide all the necessary support and at all levels to transfer the invention from a creative idea to a real investment that benefits the university and society.

After that, the student Mohammed Moaz Maslameh spoke about the importance of the award that the university received at Al-Bassel Exhibition for the invention- where the exhibition is one of the biggest exhibitions of the Middle East- and the excellence achieved by the university, especially as it was the only private university participating in the exhibition.

The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Nizar Al-Dahir, expressed the distinguished role of the President of the University and his endless support to the students and the available environment for excellence in the university and received a certificate of appreciation for his efforts for the work success.
A certificate of thanks and appreciation was also given to the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Luay Nahhas, and to the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Kamal Hamasneh.

After that, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Riadh Al-Ghazi highlighted the fingerprints that the President of the University has put forward during his work in supporting the scientific activities and the method of competition between the faculties, supporting the student activity in all its forms, training the students, activating the scientific agreements locally and internationally, developing the scientific research, rewarding research publication, developing administrative work, streamlining procedures and improving employee income.

On behalf of the National Union of Syrian Students - University Branch - Waseem Gharazuddin presented distinguished words about the achievements of the Faculty of Medicine and the clear impact of the President of the University in opening the door of excellence and attention to academic education and expanding the network of internal and external relations. He presented On behalf of the university students, a certificate of honour to the president of the university, expressing gratitude for his unlimited offers at the university.
