As a continuation to the approach of the Syrian Private University during the current circumstances and the risks of the spread of Corona virus, the university is equipping and training its students and graduates to be effective medical staffs when necessary. The Syrian Private University and the Deanship of the Faculty of Medicine have organized, under the patronage and follow-up of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Nazir Ibrahim, an advanced practical training on robotic ventilators for a group of sixth-year students and graduates from the faculty of Medicine inside (intensive care units) in the following hospitals: (Ibn Al-Nafees Hospital, the faculty's Surgical Hospital, Syrian Arab Red Crescent Hospital, Al-Kindi Hospital). The training lasted for three days, starting on Wednesday the 13th of May, 2020. Those who complete the training will be granted a certificate on the use of medical industrial ventilators.

The University Presidency and the Faculty of Medicine would like to thank everyone contributed to the success of this distinguished course. Special thanks to the hospital administrations and the professors supervising them for providing all possible means to fulfill the practical training on robotic ventilators in the best possible way. They also thank the supervising professors in the faculty of Medicine for their cooperation in making this outstanding experience successful, looking forward to organizing more distinguished and important courses.
