"Specialized Clinic for Microscopic Endodontic and Implementation " was opened at the Faculty of Dentistry on Monday 10/12/2018 in the presence of Prof. Nazir Ibrahim-President of the University and a number of professors.

Thus, the Faculty of Dentistry at the Syrian Private University becomes the first in Syria and perhaps in the Arab world, that trains the undergraduate students on the use of microscopy in the treatment and advanced dental implants.

During the opening, the Dean of the College, Prof. Mazen Zinati, explained that the Deanship of the Faculty and Professors in the Departments of Treatment and Dental Implantation have a clear plan to train each student on advanced techniques as the clinic is provided with the advanced microscope, electronic sensor, rotary equipment, endodontic obturation systems, cycler, dental implantation kit using high technology for complicated cases.

The clinic also includes a simulator (Advanced Phantom) which enables the student to train using it before moving to clinical training on patients.

The Dean of the College explained that without the excellent teaching staff, who is able to train the students to use these techniques, this pioneer project could not be implemented for undergraduate students.

Dr. Talal Al Nahlawi gave a practical presentation on how to use the microscopy devices and how to invest them in the service of students and the many educational objectives that will be achieved by such advanced technologies in the College.
