Vision:

The Faculty of Petroleum Engineering seeks to inspire students to achieve creativity and excellence in their specialization, with particular emphasis on developing their scientific character, enhancing their ability to adapt to diverse working conditions in the petroleum engineering field, and enabling them to solve potential problems. Moreover, the Faculty aims to equip students with scientific communication skills in all forms, allowing effective interaction with specialists and colleagues.

Mission:

The mission of the Faculty is to graduate petroleum engineers capable of proving themselves in all fields related to petroleum engineering—such as drilling, production, reservoir management, exploration, transportation, and storage—within any local or regional institution concerned with these areas. This is accomplished through the continuous improvement of the quality of education in the Faculty, across both theoretical and practical dimensions.

Objectives:

The Faculty of Petroleum Engineering at the Syrian Private University aims to:

A- Prepare specialists in petroleum engineering by qualifying students and providing them with a high level of knowledge in their fields of specialization, keeping pace with scientific, technological, and global advancements.

B- Advance scientific research and diverse studies, and encourage participation in the Faculty’s areas of specialization.

C- Develop methods of scientific research and education, including authorship, translation, and the unification of scientific terminology in the Faculty’s disciplines.

D- Instill values and principles that strengthen community building, nurture students’ scientific and civic character, and foster national awareness and a commitment to work.

E- Strengthen cultural and scientific ties with Arab and international faculties and scientific institutions.

F- Achieve the highest level of interaction between the Faculty and productive and industrial institutions, in application of the principle of linking the university with society.
