General Information

Description

The course begins by introducing students to the methods of processing population data from the point of view of work environment. The course focuses on the mechanism of labor markets, how it works within the institution, society and public policy. Economic logic and its tools taught in this course help analyze the decisions of employers and employees, while institutional elements shape these decisions. The course explains the components of the labor market from the point of view of supply and demand; the supply side represents the potential strength and characteristics of the workers, while the demand side represents the employers and the required employment characteristics.

Expectations and Goals

1 - Identify the student sources of human resources and their importance and how to manage them and their positive and negative effects.

2 - the student's knowledge of the factors affecting the labor market and prevailing theories.

3. Definition of relevant government policies in the regulation of the labor market. The labor market, like any market for goods or services, is a service influenced by government policies in the markets.

4 - mechanism of supply and demand for labor in the labor market.

5. Knowledge and use of labor force indicators and their respective indices.

6 - How to distribute labor on different uses.

7. Prices and labor distribution change rapidly in response to these changes in the prices of inputs other than labor.
