General Information

Description

The course aims to introduce students to the concept, nature and scope of public finance, public expenditure, public revenues, public budget and public debt.

Expectations and Goals

1- Know the importance of public finance science and its subject and its links to other sciences.

2. Know the importance of public spending and explain the basic elements of public spending.

3 - identify the basic divisions of public expenditures and factors that determine the size of public spending and controls.

4 - Explains the phenomenon of increasing public spending and know its effects.

5. Review the different types of public revenues.

6 - defines some basic concepts related to the theory of taxation such as double taxation and evasion of tax and transfer of the tax burden.

7 - defines the procedures for preparing the general budget of the state and reviews the methods of financial control and the concept of budget deficit.
