The Syrian Private University organizes a poetry competition for its students.
The Syrian Special University organized a poetry competition for the university students on Sunday, 2017/3/26, in the presence of Prof. Nazir Ibrahim, university president, Dr. Riad Al Ghazi, university vice president for scientific affairs, deans of the faculties, teaching staff members and a crowd of students who attended to encourage their fellow competitors who presented, during the competition, a collection of beautiful poems which were admired by the audience and the arbitration committee composed of (Dr. Bayan Al-Sayed, Dr. Dima Barakat and Dr. Wafa Al-Issa), At the end of the competition, the student, Fawaz Amjad Afash won the first place and the student Maher Alaya took the second place and the third place went to the student Haitham Al-Munawekh. The first three students distinguished themselves with the poems they presented in terms of poetry system and the spoken word poetry.The university administration thanks all the students who participated in the competition and congratulates the students who have received the top three positions, and thanks all who contributed to organizing this competition, especially the members of the arbitration committee and the colleagues in the branch of the National Union of Syrian Students
