The team of  Computer and Informatics Engineering  faculty, who won the first place in (Robo Sumo competition for undergraduate category), was honored by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Nazir Ibrahim, with the presence of the Dean of Computer and Informatics Engineering faculty Dr. Hassan Ahmed, Dr. Talal Hammoud, the supervisor of the Robotics Club, the team coach, Eng. Rania Sandouq and the students Sulaiman Al-Awf and Kulan Yusef, who won first place in the Robo Sumo competition for the undergraduate category within the activities of the Sixth Annual Syrian Robot  Championship ARC6 that was held by the Serra Robo Academy for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence in Lattakia. The President of the University congratulated the team and the supervisors wishing them all due success in their upcoming participations. The president stressed also the university’s keenness to support the club with all that is necessary to continue their future distinguished achievements.

Certificates of appreciation were presented to students by the president of the university at the end of the session with all due wishes of success.
