Introductory meeting for new students in the faculty of informatics and communications engineering.
The faculty of informatics and communications engineering, in cooperation with the National Union of Syrian Students, organized a meeting with the new students at the college on Saturday 12/11/2016 at the Institute of Martyr Bassel Al-Assad. The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Nazir Ibrahim, university president, Dr. Riad Al-Ghazzi, university vice-president for scientific affairs, Dr. Ahmed Rateb Al Najjar, who is charged as a dean of the faculty, heads of departments and a number of teaching staff and administrative staff members. In addition to the colleague Waseem Gharaz al-Din, head of the university branchof the National Union of Syrian Students, head and members of the administrative committee of the faculty and a group of the students of the faculty, The meeting included a speech by Prof. Dr. Nazir Ibrahim, university president, in which he welcomed the new students in the faculty and urged them to make each possible effort in the field of study and scientific achievement in order to graduate from the university at high grades and to get, through their studies, the theoretical information, knowledge and applied skills which are necessary to be able to contribute effectively in building and developing their community. In addition, Dr. Ahmed Rateb Al-Najjar gave a speech in which he focused on the most important points related to the system of attendance, examinations and evaluation of students. The meeting also included a speech by the head of the administrative committee at the faculty, Abboud Hano, and some explanations related to the open disciplines in the faculty and the scientific clubs proposed to be opened by a group of students and professors of the faculty.
The university administration congratulates its new students at the faculty of informatics and communications engineering by joining the family of the Syrian Private University, and wishes them success and good luck in their university studies.
