Syrian Private University Council
In compliance with, and based on:
- The Ministry of Higher Education’s Resolution No. (31/F) of November 29, 2007.
- Rules of procedure of the Syrian Private University, ratified by Ministerial Resolution No. (19 / F), February 18, 2016.
- University Council decisions during its session No. (17) held on August 9th, 2020 for the academic year (2019-2020).
The following was approved:
1. The announcement of the general admission competition for the freshmen class of 2020 -2021:
- The Syrian Private University announces the registration prerequisites for the admission competition of the university's faculties: (Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Computing, Informatics and Communications Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, and Business Administration).
- Eligible certificates and minimum acceptable rates required from applicants to enroll in the competition:

- Procedures for applying:
A. In accordance with Higher Education Council Resolutions in effect, the submission of applications shall be conducted by the university between applicants based on the principle of equal opportunities in order to meet the required number of seats for each faculty. Admission starts on Monday the 14th of September, 2020 till the end of official working hours on Wednesday the 23rd of September, 2020.
B. Documents and fees required:
- Attested copy of high school certificate.
- A copy of identity card or passport.
- An admission application for registration obtained from the university Registrar
- Payment of / 65,000 / SYP for non-Syrian degree holders, and / 55,000 / SYP for Syrian degree holders. This includes the application fee.
C. The results of admission competition will be announced on Friday the 25th of September, 2020 on the official website of the university and at the university's headquarters.
2. This resolution is hereby circulated to be implemented
