On Saturday, 27/2/2016, the Dental Implant Training Course, organized by the Faculty of Dentistry at the Syrian University sponsored by Cedra Syria and Bayoser, was launched.

The first session of the theoretical session was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Osama Ibrahim in the presence of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sheikh Issa and his deputy for scientific affairs, Dr. Riad Al-Ghazi and a large number of professors and doctors and students of the Syrian Private University and students of other universities.

The course includes theoretical and practical aspects. The first day of the theoretical course focused on the anatomical considerations in dental implantation, medical evaluation, lectures on bone fusion, how to prepare the patient for dental implants, radiological studies and surgical procedures in dental implants, while the second day focuses on gingival considerations Cosmetic considerations and prosthetic procedures in implantation and grafts used in dental implants.

The practical aspect includes two-day laboratory training and clinical treatment within the private clinics of the Faculty of Dentistry.

This free training course is one of the most important courses aimed at enhancing the skills of the students and adding to a series of training courses organized by the Faculty of Dentistry at the Syrian Private University within the framework of its interest to its students to become distinguished dentists and able to perform their profession professionally.
