Prof. Dr. Talal Al Nahlawi, vice-dean of the faculty of dentistry for scientific affairs, participated in the 18th conference of dentists' syndicate in Syria through several scientific lectures which are characterized with the great number of attendance and keeping with the latest updates.

The Title of the Lecture 1: The latest developments in dentistry,

The first new subject included the concepts of opening the ciliary chamber and diagnostic aids such as three-dimensional radiography, In the second subject, the use of the microscope and zoom in the treatment of the endothelial teeth through the treatment in a more controlled way, and the ability to perform some treatments that can’t be accomplished without magnification and the followed techniques such as dealing and the removal of broken tools and fill root holes.

The Title of the Lecture 2: Secrets of choosing color, the principles of color in dentistry, visual deception, the effects of contrast on the human eye, and how to avoid the constraints of taking color during clinical practice to reach good cosmetic results.

The Title of the Lecture 3: Restoration of the treated teeth to the pulp, the standards of selecting the root posts, and the advantages of the fiber posts on the metal posts, in addition to the practical application step by step.

The Title of the Lecture 4: Uses of CBCT in the treatment of dentistry, the importance of this diagnostic method in the opening of the ciliary chamber, the discovery of the additional channels, the identification of pests and their size and their relationship with the anatomical neighborhoods, diagnosis of internal and external dental absorption, and fractures of roots, in addition to the accuracy of measuring the broken core tools within the root channels.
