The Syrian Private University sponsors the first pharmaceutical awareness conference.

The first pharmaceutical awareness conference, organized by the Syrian Pharmacists Syndicate in cooperation with the faculty of pharmacy, Damascus university, sponsored by the ministry of Higher Education and in collaboration with the Damascus university branch of the National Union of Syrian Students at Damascus University, The aim of this conference is to raise awareness about the dangers of misuse of tranquilizers, psychotropic drugs and psychotropic substances, in addition to raising awareness about the dangers of smoking in society, as well as raising the awareness of the family about the social, psychological and illness dangers of AIDS. The conference will be attended by the Ministry of the Interior, the Anti-Narcotics Department, the Directorate of General Customs and the Ministry of Health, as well as the participation of doctors, dentists, lawyers, and teachers, deans of the faculty of pharmacy in Syrian public and private universities. The conference will be accompanied by an exhibit which is considered the first for a vocational training pharmacy in the faculty of pharmacy. On the margin of the conference, students will be aware of the importance of time management, scientific publishing and the the positive social communication. The conference will be held on 15-16 / 11/2016 and will be held at the Tishreen auditorium in the faculty of pharmacy at the Damascus university.
