The Syrian Private University received the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Abdel Moneim Abdel Hafez, the Assistant Minister of Higher Education for Private Educational Institutions Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Al-Suwaid, and the Director of Administrative Development at the Ministry, Dr. Basil Shahadat, on Monday 2/24/2025. They toured the university accompanied by the university president, Professor Abdul Razzaq Al-Hussein, the members of the university’s management committee, and the deans of the colleges. The minister listened to the students’ opinions and comments on the educational process and the services provided.

The Minister praised the university’s efforts in providing a distinguished educational environment, stressing the importance of continuing to improve the quality of education and meet the needs of students.

During his tour, he was briefed on the latest facilities and equipment in the university’s colleges, noting the importance of developing the infrastructure and updating the educational curricula to suit the needs of the labor market. He also held talks with faculty members, stressing his full support for the efforts made to develop academic and research programs.

This visit comes within the framework of the Ministry of Higher Education's keenness to follow up on the educational process in Syrian universities, and to enhance communication between students and officials to ensure the provision of the best educational services.
