The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sheikh Issa, represented the Syrian University for the work of the forty-seventh session of the Union of Arab Universities, which was held at the University of the Middle East in Amman

During the period from 26 to 27 March 2014 with the participation and participation of a large number of heads of Arab universities. The participation of the Syrian Private University came as a member of the Union of Arab Universities.
During the conference, the agenda was discussed in advance and recommendations were made.
On the sidelines of the conference, a joint cooperation agreement was signed with the Lebanese University of Jinan. The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sheikh Issa, President of the Syrian Private University and Prof. Abed Amin Yakin, President of Jinan University. This agreement includes the terms of scientific and cultural cooperation between the two universities

On the sidelines of the conference, a meeting was held between the President of the University and Dr. Ali Abdulla Mousa, President of the International Council for the Arabic Language, where a number of important topics were discussed regarding the importance of focusing on the interest in Arabic language at the level of Arab universities as an essential step to promote Arab universities and scientific research.
