The Syrian Private University, represented by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sheikh Issa, signed an agreement for scientific cooperation and cultural exchange with the University of Damascus, represented by the President of the University, Dr. Mohamed Amer Mardini, on 8/7/2014.

The three-year renewable agreement provides for the exchange of short visits by the two members of the educational and administrative staff to exchange information and experiences, participate in various academic events, give lectures and training, as well as long visits to faculty members as visiting professors or delegates to carry out scientific research missions. Levels of study for qualification and training.

The two sides shall undertake research, scientific activity and graduate studies to carry out research projects and jointly supervise the agreed letters of graduate students, exchange invitations to participate in scientific activities, conferences and seminars, and conduct training courses for faculty members from both teams and admission of lecturers from the Syrian Private University to study master's and doctorate In the University of Damascus and training students of medical colleges at the Syrian Private University in the hospitals and laboratories belonging to the University of Damascus and the opening of joint graduate programs in some specialties.

Under the agreement, the two sides will exchange publications, publications and scientific journals issued by them and benefit from electronic libraries.

This agreement covers all existing colleges and colleges which will be opened later.
