The College of Computer and Informatics Engineering and Communications hosted Dr. Mahib Al Naqri, the national coordinator of the World Robotics Olympiad, on Tuesday 8/12/2015 at the temporary university headquarters at the Martyr Bassel Al Assad Institute

The meeting was attended by the President of the University, Prof. Abdul Razzaq Sheikh Issa and his deputies. Dr. Marwan Al-Hajji and a. Dr. Riyad Al-Ghazi, Dean of the College, Prof. Ali Skaf and his deputy, and a group of professors and students.

Dr. Muhayeb Al Naqri presented a valuable lecture on "The World Olympiad and the development of the activities of the Robotics Club in the College". He spoke first about the emergence of robots in the world and then talked about the international robotics competitions and their goals and the age groups that can participate in these competitions. Creative inventions and national experience in this field.

The lecture was presented by Waseem Saad from the Syrian Computer Society, where he provided the students with valuable information about the competitions and the conditions of participation. He encouraged them to invest their abilities in preparing robots, programming them and presenting them as graduation projects.

The families of the Syrian Private University thank Dr. Mohieb Al Naqri and Eng. Waseem Saad Ali for their important lecture and wish them success and further progress.
