Based on the mutual desire to reinforce scientific cooperation between the Syrian Private University and Al Hwash Private University, a scientific and cultural cooperation agreement was signed between the two universities on 07/11/2015.

The agreement stated that the two universities exchange short visits of their teaching staff to deliver lectures, and long visits to conduct joint researches and training.

The two universities exchange invitations to attend conferences, seminars and cooperation in different fields including joint scientific researches, participating in different scientific activities held by either party, in addition to train students in specific labs of both.

The agreement stated too that the two universities permit their students to study a course or more at the other university, and the result/s of students' examinations in that/those coursed are recognized in both universities.

The duration of the agreement is three years automatically renewable, unless one of the two universities asks to terminate it.
