The President of the Syrian Private University, Prof. Dr. Edmond Salloum, received a delegation from the First Microfinance Bank - Syria, represented by the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Farhad Zulfiqar, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Rabie Dibba, the Director of the Bank's Branch in Damascus, Mr. Hashem Al-Qaseer, and the Director of Human Resources, Mrs. Julie Anton.

The meeting was held in the office of the President of the University, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Prof. Dr. Ali Al-Khader, the Dean of the Faculty of Informatics Engineering, Prof. Dr. Muhaib Al-Naqri, the Director of the University President’s Office, Ms. Hanadi Zaatar, and the Director of Public Relations, Marketing and Media, Ms. Hala Hanna.

The meeting discuused the possibility and ways of cooperation between the two parties in several areas of interest to students, with regard to practical training, specialized scientific field visits, and securing suitable job opportunities for university graduates from the faculties of Informatics Engineering and Administrative Sciences, in addition to supporting scientific research programs and international competitions and exchanging experiences in several fields.

At the end of the meeting, the delegation toured the campus of the Syrian Private University to get acquainted with its faculties and public facilities.
