The Syrian Private University in cooperation with the societyofthe Institute of Human Resources Management organized the professional guidance conference oriented to the students of the faculty of computer engineering, informatics and communications as well as the faculty of business administration management on Saturday 13/5//2016 in the theatre of martyr Basel Al Assad institute (Laïque School)

The conference started with a welcoming speech delivered by the university president Prof. Dr. Nazir Ibrahim, followed by a word by the president of the society of the Institute of Human Resources Dr. Munir Abbas in which he welcomes all participants in the conference. The dean of the faculty of computer engineering, informatics and communications Dr.Ramez Haj Islam explained to the faculty students in his speech the faculty vision about linking the faculty students with job market and preparing them to get distinctive job opportunities. The panel discussion started by the participation of the university president Prof. Dr. Nazir Ibrahim, the Syrian Virtual university prof .Dr.Khalil AlAjami, the president of the society of the Institute of Human Resources Dr. Munir Abbas, the manager of employment and personnel affairs in Syritel Company Miss Samar Halabi, the manager of strategic planning at Sukkar Industrial Group Miss Nuha Shwehneh and the main branch of AlBarakah Bank Mr. Mohammad Abu Naaj.

The discussion centered around available job opportunities offered to the graduates of the faculty of computer engineering, informatics and communications and the faculty of business administration, the requested graduates’ qualifications and skills, as well as the analysis of the gap between the academic study and the job market requirements, and on how to bridge and remedy  it. The discussion tackled the necessity for benefitting from training chances offered by the university in cooperation with the business sector companies and establishment because they will turn into real job opportunities in case the trainees proof their merits and efficiency during training.

The conference ends with the distribution of Tanking and appreciation certificates to all participating lecturers and taking group photos.
