2) Crouse abstract& General Goals

يهدف المقرر إلي التعريف بعلم الوراثة وأهميته بالنسبة لمختلف العلوم والتعريف بالطبيعة الكيميائية للمادة الوراثية والية عملها بالإضافة للوراثة عند الإنسان و التبدلات الصبغية و المتلازمات و الأمراض الوراثية الأكثر انتشارا عند الإنسان

The course aims to introduce the genetics and its importance for the various fields of science and the definition of the nature of the chemical and genetic mechanism of action in addition to heredity in humans and chromosomal changes and genetic syndromes and diseases most common in humans

بعد إنهـاء هذا المقرر بنجـاح، سـيكتسـب الطالب معرفـة وفهمـاً في:

After going through this course, student will gain Knowledge in, & understanding of:

·       التعرف على اهمية علم الوراثة

·       التعرف على الطبيعة الكيميائية للمادة الوراثية

·       الخواص المختلفة للمادة الوراثية  الكيميائية و الفيزيائية

·       تضاعف المادة الوراثية متطلباتها و أنماطها

·       آلية عمل المادة الوراثية ( تركيب البروتين)

·       تنظيم عمل المادة الوراثية

·       الطفرات , أنماطها , مسبباتها

·       الصبغيات , بنيتها و سلوكها 

·       الوراثة عند الإنسان

·       أمثلة عن بعض المتلازمات الوراثية التي تصيب الإنسان

·       بعض الامراض الوراثية التي تصيب الانسان

·       Identify the importance of genetics

·       identify the chemical nature of genetic material

·       the different genetic properties of the chemical and physical

·       double the genetic material , its requirements and patterns.

After finishing this course successfully, the student will be able to:

·       الفهم المعقد للوراثة تركيبها  واليتها ودورها في الخلية والكائن الحي وعلاقتها بالوظائف الحيوية المختلفة وكذلك اثر الوراثة ودورها في حصول الامراض وظهور الصفات

•  understanding of heredity , its composition , its mechanism and its role in the cell and the organism and its relationship to various vital functions as well as the impact of genetics and for its role in the emergence of diseases and traits

The student will be familiar with the role of genetics in disease emergence and methods of transmission and methods of treatment
