My dear male and female students, male and female colleagues, faculty and technical staff members, and gentlemen visitors, I am pleased to welcome you to the corridors of the Faculty of Medicine at the Syrian Private University.

Based on our vision of considering the student as the focus and goal of the educational process, and preparing him to face the challenges of the present and the future is the primary goal of our college, the college has sought to prepare graduates equipped with theoretical knowledge, practical experiences, and behaviors that enable them to employ them in self-building and community development.

Our college is distinguished by a highly qualified teaching staff that works diligently and skillfully in a team spirit to raise the level of university education, which is reflected in the performance of graduates in their workplaces.

In the next phase, the work of the college administration will focus on continuing to apply the latest methods to enrich the scientific and intellectual structure of the medical student at the university level, enabling him to play his role in society and deal with all variables effectively and efficiently. We also seek to further develop the administrative structure to achieve national and international accreditation standards.

In conclusion, I extend my sincere thanks to all the former and current deans and vice deans of the college for their great efforts, and thanks go to the faculty members and to all our fellow doctors and workers in the college and the hospitals where clinical training takes place, and to the male and female students of the college whom we are proud of for their cooperation and response in all stages of development of our beloved college.
