Description

At the end of this course, students are expected to learn

- how to chose the separation method according to chemical structure and physical properties of substance

- Separate the active substances from pharmaceutical forms

- apply the separation methods in drug stability studies

- use the separation methods in quality control analyses

Expectations and Goals

1- Understanding and all separation techniques

2- Using separation Instruments in determination the concentration of substances

3- Using appropriate separation method according to the goal of analysis

4- Using separation Instruments in the analysis of pharmaceutical preparations as well as the food analyses and the biochemical and clinical analyses. They are also used in the analysis of contaminants
