- The course includes definitions and terminology related to nutrition and diets, their relation to other sciences, energy sources of the body, health nutrition, diet and the factors influencing it, with reference to the basic nutrients and their functions in the body, types of food pyramids, food dish and its relation to various body activities>
- he contents of the Nutrition Factsheet, the list of nutrients, their indications and colors, color codes, health claims models and nutrition information methods, the definition of diets, the preparation of meals for patients, the regulation of food consumption and the factors affecting hunger and satiety, malnutrition and associated risks . The course included a therapeutic diet during kidney diseases, digestion, liver and optimal food for pregnant women during the period of breastfeeding

1- The course aims to introduce the student to the relationship between nutrition science, dietetics and other sciences, including Chemical of foods, physiology, pharmacology, etc.…

The final exam covers all the information given during the Semester.
