General Information
Description
At the end of the course the students will be able to correlate organ's physiology with biochemical basis of their function, to understand the role of some biomolecules in metabolism, as well as, to correlate biochemistry with previous general biological sciences which they had before.
Expectations and Goals
Students are supposed to focus on the following:
1- To study the structure and classification of amino acids and proteins
2- Pathways of amino acids metabolism
3- The role of enzymes as catalysts
4- Vitamins
5- Pituitary gland hormones and their metabolism
