Signing different academic and scientific agreements between the Syrian Private University and some Indian universities

the University president Prof. Dr. Nazir Ibrahim and the university consultant for international relations and scientific cooperation visited  India to activate the academic and scientific cooperation relations between the Syrian Private University and some Indian universities. The visit included:

·      VisitingMnavRachnaInternational University which is one the largest Indian universities composed of two universities and 12 schools, among which the engineering, administration and economy. The agreement signed includes benefitting from the MnavRachnaInternational University’s electronic library to create an electronic library at the Syrian Private University, exchange of the educational staff and students of the faculties of business administration management and computer, informatics and communication engineering in 2017.

·      Visiting Hamdard University which is one the oldest Indian universities and includes of faculties of medicine, pharmacy, sciences, nursing, informatics and management. It ranks in an advanced place among Asian universities. A cooperation agreement was signed and suggested to be activated through inviting the dean of the faculty of Greek medicine to participate in scientific activities to be held at the SPU, receiving some lecturers from Hamdard University at the SPU and dispatching some SPU’s students to Hamdard University in August and September 2017.

·      Convening a meeting with Lovely Professional University, this has a hospital directed by students. A joint agreement was prepared for signing.

·      Visiting Artemis Hospital, which has diversified and specializations among which are liver, kidney and heart transplantation. Discussion was made for cooperation establishment through exchange information, experience, attending conference and delivering lectures.

Visiting the Liver And Bile Duct Research Center which is indeed is  a joint venture between public and private sector place second globally as a World Health Organization authorized center. Academic and scientific cooperation was discussed in the meeting.
