The Faculty of Business Administration organized, in cooperation with the National Union of Syrian Students, a scientific visit to the Syrian International Islamic Bank in Yafour on Wednesday 19/7/2017. Prof. Hassan Hijazi, Head of Finance and Banking Department at the Faculty, and Mr. Hommam Homsi, Director of Marketing and Public Relations, accompanied a group of students in this visit. The students learned about the mechanism of work in the bank through the explanations and clarifications provided by the administrators of the departments about the most important tasks and activities carried out by the branch. They also learned about the electronic services there through visiting the Department of Electronic Services and Distribution Channels, and about the mechanism of personal finance and microfinance provided by the bank. In addition, the students visited the Financial Institutions Department, the Central Operations Sector, the Credit Departments, the Department of Monitoring and Collection of Troubled Financing, and the Department of Branch Affairs. The visit ended with a view to the work mechanism of Human Resources Management, where it was agreed to provide training opportunities for a group of students at bank in the coming period.
