Syrian Private University (SPU) participated in Erasmus+ Contact Seminar with Southern Mediterranean

Syrian Private University (SPU) participated in Erasmus+ Contact Seminar with Southern Mediterranean Countries- Rome, Italy 18-19 October 2017 at Sapienza University di Roma. More than 270 people from 140 public and private universities from 60 participating countries including EU countries, Southern Mediterranean, USA, Latin America, and Australia. Dr. Munir Abas, the head of human resources management department at the Faculty of Business Administration represented SPU in the seminar. 
During the seminar experts from EU and Erasmus+ program explained and overviewed the four programs: International Credit Mobility (ICM), Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE), Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees (EMJMD), and Jean Monnet Activities (JMA). In the beginning and at the end of the seminar two big sessions for networking were conducted to allow participants getting to know each other’s’ organizations and their interests to form project teams between the program and partners countries  to apply for the new projects for the year of 2018 which will open soon.  

Dr. Munir also mentioned that the Faculty of Business Administration at SPU participated in two projects with more than 12 program and partner countries universities during the years of 2016 and 2017 and will keep applying to the coming projects during 2018 because the international importance of such programs participation for the SPU students and administration and academic staff.
