The Syrian Private University, represented by its president  Prof. Dr. Abdulrazak Cheikh Issa, received the certificate of converting its membership status from an associate member into an active member by virtue of resolution no. 16 issued in the 48th session of the general conference of the Arab Universities Union hosted by Saint Joseph University in Lebanon, between 25-26/3/2015.

It is worthy to mention that handing the certificate took place during the participation of the Syrian Private University in the 49th session of the general conference of the Arab Universities Union hosted by the United Arab Emirates University in the United Arab Emirates on 10-11/3/2015.
